Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino believes that his side and Swansea City share the same ethos of playing style in the Premier League.

Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino feels that his side and today's opponents Swansea City share a similar playing style.

Both teams have had excellent seasons in the Premier League, sharing an ethos of a possession game.

Pochettino told the club's official website: "Swansea's brand of football is quite established, and their way of playing is quite similar to what we're trying to do here at Southampton.

"I do think that we play with qualities from the English game, but we add to that with our experience of formations and education as continental managers.

"We will come up against a very good team in what is a tough place to go, so we are fully aware that it will be a tough game."

Southampton are 12th in the Premier League and are seven points clear of the relegation zone.
