Southampton midfielder Jack Cork has hailed his side's resilience in their goalless draw with Swansea City.
Both sides drew a blank in front of goal at the Liberty Stadium as the Saints all but secured their Premier League status with a point.
Cork told the club's official website: "If we'd have played this game at the start of the season, we might not have weathered that storm.
"We might have conceded and lost the game, so it shows how far we've come this season that we've picked up a point at such a crucial time.
"A lot of teams struggle to deal with the way Swansea play here, so it was a good point for us in the end."
Southampton are 12th in the Premier League on 39 points, eight points clear of the relegation zone.
