Team News: Steven Fletcher starts for Sunderland

Steven Fletcher and Danny Rose overcome injury troubles in time for Sunderland's trip to face Southampton this afternoon.

Steven Fletcher has shaken off a back injury in time to be included in Sunderland's Premier League trip to Southampton this afternoon.

Defender Danny Rose has also recovered from injury in time for the match, and he replaces Titus Bramble in the only change for the Black Cats from their 3-1 loss to Manchester United last weekend.

Southampton, meanwhile, have made two changes to their starting XI, bringing in Gaston Ramirez and Emmanuel Mayuka in place of Adam Lallana and Jay Rodriguez.
