Southampton are reportedly pondering a move for Fulham goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg.
The 32-year-old has fallen out of favour at Craven Cottage and was loaned out to AS Monaco last season.
Saints manager Ronald Koeman is thought to be in the market for a new stopper to provide cover for Fraser Forster, who will miss the first half of next season with a knee injury.
Veteran goalkeeper Kelvin Davis and Paulo Gazzaniga are currently the two options that the Saints boss has at his disposal.
According to the Southern Daily Echo, Netherlands international Stekelenburg is one of Koeman's main targets.
The former Ajax and Roma man still has two years of his Fulham contract remaining, which could open up the possibility of a season-long loan switch to the South Coast.
Stekelenburg has made 19 appearances for Fulham since joining them from Roma in 2013.
