Alvaro Morata pleased with Spain involvement

Juventus forward Alvaro Morata reveals that he is looking forward to once again pulling on a Spain shirt in their upcoming Euro 2016 qualifiers.

Alvaro Morata has revealed that he is ready to contribute to Spain after being called into the national squad for the upcoming Euro 2016 qualification games against Luxembourg and Ukraine.

The Juventus forward has only scored once in 5 senior games for his country, but the 22-year-old has said that he now feels physically ready to play a key role for La Roja.

"I had no rhythm last time. The same thing happened to me last year, I couldn't get a full pre-season. Now I'm much better and I'm happy to be with Spain," AS quotes Morata as saying.

"Juventus haven't started in the best way but we're getting better. I'm happy to have scored again and if we win and I score, I'm happy.

"People expect Spain to win and it's not easy. Everyone wants to beat Spain and we have to give everything to win."

Morata hit 13 goals in 13 games for Spain's Under-21 team before making the step into the seniors in 2014.
