Saturday's Primeira Liga predictions including Tondela vs. Sporting Lisbon

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Primeira Liga fixtures, including Tondela vs. Sporting Lisbon.

Pacos de Ferreira vs. Maritimo (Saturday, 3.30pm)

Two sides level on 33 points in the Primeira Liga standings square on Saturday when Pacos de Ferreira and Maritimo go head to head at the Estadio Capital do Movel.

O Maior das Ilhas cruised to a 2-0 victory when the sides locked horns in November's reverse fixture and will be seeking to complete an impressive league double over the hosts.

We say: Pacos de Ferreira 1-1 Maritimo

Maritimo have suffered a slump in form in recent weeks and will head into the game in search of a pick-me-up. While they are unbeaten in three straight away games, they face an evenly-matched Pacos de Ferreira side, who will be looking to quickly return to winning ways following their loss to Sporting Lisbon. We predict both sides will cancel out each other's efforts and settle for a share of the spoils.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Benfica vs. Belenenses (Saturday, 6.00pm)

Fresh off the back of a Champions League defeat to Liverpool, Benfica welcome Belenenses to the Estadio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica in round 29 of the Primeira Liga.

O Belem, on the other hand, ended their five-game winless run last weekend and will look to build on that result as they begin a late charge from the relegation zone.

We say: Benfica 3-0 Belenenses

Buoyed by their victory over Portimonense, Belenenses will head into Saturday with renewed confidence as they look to move out of the relegation zone. However, looking at past results between the sides, Benfica are clear favourites to come out victorious this weekend having won each of their last six encounters with O Belem. We predict the hosts will cruise to all three points and set the tone for their upcoming game against Liverpool.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Boavista vs. Arouca (Saturday, 6.00pm)

Two sides who picked up victories last weekend square off on Saturday as Boavista play host to Arouca at the Estadio do Bessa in round 29 of the Primeira Liga.

The Arouquenses will head into the game seeking to complete a league double over the hosts after picking up a 2-1 victory back in November's reverse fixture.

We say: Boavista 1-1 Arouca

Both sides head into the game fresh off the back of ending their three-game winless run and will be seeking to keep the ball rolling. However, Boavista have failed to win any of their most recent six home games, claiming five draws in that time and we predict the spoils will be shared once again on Saturday.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Tondela vs. Sporting Lisbon (Saturday, 8.30pm)

Seeking to pick up a fifth Primeira Liga victory on the bounce, Sporting Lisbon take a trip to the Estadio Joao Cardoso to lock horns with Tondela on Saturday.

The hosts head into the game fresh off the back of ending their run of seven league games without a win and will look to build on that result as they make a late push from the drop zone.

We say: Tondela 0-2 Sporting Lisbon

Saturday's game sees two sides at opposite ends of the table go head to head with Sporting Lisbon being the clearly superior side. While Tondela will look to build on their win over Maritimo, they face the Leoes, who have won each of their last four encounters. Looking at the gulf in quality and experience between the two sides, and their contrasting form, we are backing Sporting Lisbon to come away with all three points unscathed.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
