Tottenham Hotspur's Dele Alli escapes UEFA action after 'kicking' opponent

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli reportedly avoids facing further action after appearing to kick Fiorentina's Nenad Tomovic during last night's Europa League clash.

Tottenham Hotspur starlet Dele Alli will reportedly not be punished by UEFA for appearing to kick Nenad Tomovic during his side's Europa League tie against Fiorentina on Thursday night.

The 19-year-old fouled his opponent and appeared to catch Tomovic with his boot while on the ground at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

The midfielder was given a yellow card by the referee following the incident in the first leg of the last-32 clash, which ended in a 1-1 draw.

According to Sky Sports News, Alli, who has scored seven goals for Spurs so far this season, will not face any further action for his apparent kick.

Tottenham will welcome Fiorentina to White Hart Lane for the return leg on February 25.
