Since first appearing against Bournemouth in the 2016-17 Premier League season, Son Heung-min has registered 10 direct involvements from 14 previous matches against the Cherries, eight of his own and two assists.
The Tottenham Hotspur captain has also come out on the winning side in eight of those fixtures, suffering three defeats and playing out three draws, and one of those losses came at the Vitality Stadium as recently as December 2024.
Son was only a second-half substitute in that reverse to Andoni Iraola's side, though, after which he struck his eighth and most recent goal over Bournemouth in Spurs' 2-2 home draw in March 2025.
The ex-Bayer Leverkusen man was also on target in Spurs' gut-wrenching 3-2 home defeat during the 2022-23 top-flight season, prior to which he produced a few standout displays against Bournemouth rather than several consistent ones.
Indeed, Son registered two assists versus the Cherries for Dele Alli and Moussa Sissoko in the 2019-20 campaign, while also netting back-to-back braces in this fixture March 2018 and Boxing Day 2018.
The South Korean's first strike against Bournemouth came in just his second appearance against them in April 2017, as he did not play a single minute in this fixture during his debut campaign in 2015-16, missing one game with a foot injury and being an unused substitute in the other.
On a more negative note, Bournemouth are just one of four teams - alongside Everton, Chelsea and Magdeburg - that Son has been sent off against, as he was given his marching orders in a 1-0 May 2019 defeat for pushing Jefferson Lerma in the chest.
