Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that he is hopeful Harry Kane will be available for Sunday's game with Swansea City at White Hart Lane.
The striker was rested for Thursday's Europa League victory over Fiorentina after suffering a broken nose, but had expected to be back in action this weekend.
Speaking to reporters on Friday, however, Pochettino was non-committal over Kane's participation in the game with the Swans, which could see them go top of the Premier League if Leicester City slip up against Norwich City.
"We need to assess him day by day," he said. "On Thursday he was on the training ground, he ran, he made some exercises and we are happy with the way he is.
"We will see. We hope he will be available for Sunday."
Sunday's meeting is the first of three Premier League fixtures in the space of six days for Spurs, with games against London rivals West Ham United and Arsenal to come next week.
