Mousa Dembele: 'Tottenham will be disappointed if we don't win Premier League'

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Mousa Dembele says that the team will be "disappointed" if they do not win the Premier League title this season.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Mousa Dembele has admitted that he and his teammates will be "disappointed" if they do not go all the way and win the Premier League title this season.

Mauricio Pochettino's side have emerged as surprise contenders for the English crown, which they have not won since 1961.

Currently, the North London outfit are second in the table, five points behind leaders Leicester City with seven games left to play.

"It will be difficult, but we have to have confidence in ourselves," Dembele told reporters. "We have a difficult run-in too. We still have Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United so it won't be easy, but in the Premier League, everyone can beat everyone. So we'll see.

"Of course we would be disappointed if we don't win it. The season has been very good. You have to be positive too, but we have a goal and we're trying to think of that."

Spurs have won 17, drawn nine and lost three of their league games this season.
