Christian Eriksen 'misses Ajax training amid Tottenham Hotspur interest'

Christian Eriksen reportedly misses Ajax's training session today amid reports that he is close to joining Tottenham Hotspur.

Christian Eriksen appears to be edging closer to a move to Tottenham Hotspur from Ajax after reportedly missing today's training session.

The Dutch outfit's director of football Marc Overmars confirmed yesterday that the Denmark international had been given permission to speak to the North London outfit.

It appears that discussions may have already begun after he was nowhere to be seen during today's training with Ajax, according to Sky Sports News.

Spurs are said to be continuing their summer spending after agreeing a fee with Roma for Erik Lamela.
