Serie A outfit Roma have confirmed that they have agreed to sell Erik Lamela to Tottenham Hotspur.
The Argentine international has long been linked with a move to Spurs as they look to replace Real Madrid-bound Gareth Bale.
While there has been no official comment from the Premier League side, a statement on Roma's official website this afternoon revealed that the two parties had reached a settlement over a fee, thought to be around £25m.
The Romans also claimed that they could be due an extra £5m from Spurs depending upon Lamela's success at White Hart Lane.
The attacking midfielder, 21, is now expected to travel to London where he will undergo a medical and discuss personal terms.
