Harry Kane has urged Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino to stay in charge at White Hart Lane for a "long time".
The 44-year-old, who joined the club from Southampton in 2014, has transformed the team into Premier League title contenders.
The North London outfit are seven points behind leaders Leicester City with six games left to play.
It has been reported that the club are keen to offer Pochettino a new contract, but the Argentine wants to delay talks until the end of the season.
"He's a great manager and you want the best managers from around the world at your club," Sky Sports News quotes Kane as saying.
"When you have a top manager you want them to stay around for a long time. You can see how the rest of the team has improved under him."
After this season, Pochettino will have three years remaining on his contract.
