Club captain Hugo Lloris wants first Tottenham Hotspur win

Tottenham Hotspur captain Hugo Lloris feels that the club have been unlucky not to record a win so far, urging his teammates to secure a victory against Sunderland.

Tottenham Hotspur keeper and captain Hugo Lloris has urged his teammates to record their first win of the season this weekend.

The France international feels that the side have been unlucky not to record any victories so far in the 2015-16 campaign.

"To be honest we've been a bit unlucky over the last month because we've done a lot of positive things but we haven't been rewarded for that and we've lost some points, so now we need to recover those points and we hope to start this weekend at Sunderland," the former Lyon player told the club's official website.

"I think we need to find our confidence as quickly as possible and to do that we need to win the next game.

"It's important for the confidence of the team, individually and collectively, to get the three points."

Tottenham travel to the Stadium of Light to play Sunderland on Sunday.
