Tottenham Hotspur's Ryan Mason "angry" to concede West Ham winner from set piece

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Ryan Mason says that the team were "angry" to concede West Ham United's goal from a set piece.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Ryan Mason has admitted that he and his teammates were "angry" to concede West Ham United's winning goal from a set piece on Tuesday night.

Michail Antonio scored the one and only goal of the game with a header from a corner in the seventh minute at Upton Park.

Spurs could have moved to the top of the Premier League table with a win, but they remain second in the standings, three points behind leaders Leicester City.

"We were very angry to concede from a set piece and from there we were always chasing the game," Mason told Spurs TV. "We need to recover well and put in a good performance on Saturday so we can forget this."

Tottenham will take on Arsenal at White Hart Lane this weekend.
