Paulinho: 'Tottenham Hotspur confident ahead of West Bromwich Albion clash'

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Paulinho says that his side will travel to West Bromwich Albion full of confidence this afternoon following Monday's 5-1 win over Sunderland.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Paulinho has said that his side will travel to West Bromwich Albion full of confidence this afternoon following Monday's 5-1 victory over Sunderland.

However, the Brazilian midfielder is wary that Pepe Mel's side could be dangerous opponents, despite the Baggies having not won at home since New Year's Day.

Paulinho told Tottenham's official club website: "It was most important to win against Sunderland for the confidence, we have another difficult game at West Brom and now we take that confidence into that game.

"I didn't play in the home game, but I know West Brom are strong, a good team. We have to go there and play well, play the same as we did against Sunderland and then we can win this game."

Spurs have taken seven points from their last three trips to The Hawthorns.
