Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri is "pleased" with his side's 1-1 draw against Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane as they picked up their first away points of the season.

Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has said that he is "pleased" with his side's 1-1 draw against Tottenham Hotspur this afternoon.

The Foxes picked up their first away point of the season courtesy of Ahmed Musa's second-half strike, cancelling out a Vincent Janssen opener from the penalty spot.

Ranieri suggested that the performance was more like that of last term, when his side famously won the Premier League title.

"I am pleased with a point, with our performance. I saw the Leicester spirit, the way we stuck together and fought together," he is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.

"A very good performance. Until now we played with a singular spirit, today was a squad spirit."

The result also saw Ranieri maintain his unbeaten record against Tottenham in the Premier League, which now stands at 11 matches.
