Harry Redknapp has said that Tottenham Hotspur are still his focus following an eventful week for the veteran manager.
On Wednesday, Redknapp was cleared of two charges of tax evasion, while later that day Fabio Capello quit as manager of England, with Redknapp immediately installed as the favourite for the job.
Despite this, Redknapp remains focused on Tottenham's progress in the Premier League ahead of Saturday's tie with fellow high flyers Newcastle United.
"I'm just getting on with my job. I am trying to pick a team for tomorrow and then for next week at Stevenage," said the 64-year-old manager.
"All my focus is just on Tottenham. It's been hard to get where we are and this is my job. This is what I get paid to do."
Spurs currently sit third in the Premier League, five points behind Manchester United and seven points clear of fourth-place Chelsea.
