Sandro: 'I do not have a problem with Tim Sherwood'

Sandro insists that he has "nothing against" Tottenham Hotspur head coach Tim Sherwood.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Sandro has insisted that he does not have a problem with head coach Tim Sherwood.

The Spurs coach has been forced to dismiss suggestions of a rift between the two after he left the Brazilian out of the squad in Saturday's 3-1 victory over Fulham at White Hart Lane.

Sandro is also eager to play down the comments made by Sherwood, and has reiterated his desire to remain at the club.

"I respect him, I have nothing against him, let him speak," the 25-year-old told Lancenet.

"I will continue working quietly, I'm a professional. I have to work. Everyone loves me at Tottenham, it is my home."

Sandro will be hoping to return to the squad against Stoke City on Saturday.
