Tim Sherwood praises Christian Eriksen enthusiasm

Tottenham Hotspur boss Tim Sherwood praises Christian Eriksen following Monday's 5-1 win over Sunderland at White Hart Lane.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Tim Sherwood has praised Christian Eriksen for his enthusiastic approach following Monday's 5-1 win over Sunderland.

The Danish midfielder set up two goals and scored one himself at White Hart Lane as Spurs came from behind to claim the points in the Premier League.

Sherwood is convinced that the 22-year-old will only improve if he keeps working hard on the training pitch.

"You have to drag him off the training field every day and he is still a kid," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "He will get better, but he will only get better because he wants to. I'm delighted for him."

Tottenham's Premier League campaign continues on Saturday when they face West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns.
