A report claims that Mauricio Pochettino will be backed by Daniel Levy to bring in a number of new players this summer, including Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele.

Tottenham Hotspur chiefs will reportedly free up funds for Mauricio Pochettino to spend this summer in order to keep him at the club.

The 47-year-old refused to commit his future to the Lilywhites following Saturday's Champions League final defeat to Liverpool.

Pochettino has grown frustrated by what he perceives to be a lack of financial backing over the past 16 months, with Tottenham failing to sign a single player during that period.

According to The Mirror, though, chairman Daniel Levy is eager to show the ex-Southampton boss that the club can match his ambition.

Spurs are said to have already had big-money bids rejected for Real Betis midfielder Giovani Lo Celso and Lyon ace Tanguy Ndombele.

Levy is also expected to back Pochettino in his pursuit of Celta Vigo striker Maxi Gomez and Fulham winger Ryan Sessegnon in what is shaping up to be a busy summer at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
