Report: Tottenham Hotspur to sign Alexandre Pato from Corinthians

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on signing Brazilian striker Alexandre Pato from Corinthians for £7.2m, as Mauricio Pochettino looks to add a striker to his squad.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on adding Brazilian striker Alexandre Pato to their squad.

The 25-year-old, who signed for AC Milan in 2007, has scored 26 league goals since returning to Brazil in 2013.

According to Brazilian news outlet UOL, the forward - who is currently on loan at Sao Paulo - could move to White Hart Lane for £7.2m from his parent club Corinthians.

Spurs head coach Mauricio Pochettino has previously expressed his desire to sign another attacker to support Harry Kane before the window closes.

Tottenham were held to a 1-1 draw against Leicester City on Saturday afternoon.
