Tottenham Hotspur winger Andros Townsend has heaped praise on his side's summer signings.
Spurs have spent over £100m on new talent since the end of last season, adding Roberto Soldado, Paulinho, Nacer Chadli, Etienne Capoue, Erik Lamela, Christian Eriksen and Vlad Chiriches to their ranks.
Townsend has been particularly impressed by Spain international forward Soldado, who arrived from Valencia in a £26m move.
"He's world class," Townsend told The Sun. "He knows where the net is and it's up to me to keep putting the ball into the box because you know he'll be there."
Townsend is also a big admirer of former Toulouse midfielder Capoue, who he believes has the potential to emulate former Arsenal captain Patrick Vieira.
"Etienne is so strong," added Townsend. "He reminds me of a young Vieira, the way he gets up and down, the way he gets tackles in, the way he drives through midfield.
"Paulinho has a great engine, can tackle and shoot. And then there's Nacer, who has great abilities on the left flank. All of our new signings have significantly strengthened our team."
Townsend, who has been sent out on loan to nine different clubs since 2009, is hoping to feature regularly in Tottenham's first team this season.
