Kyle Walker has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp is the best manager in the country and is eager for him to remain at White Hart Lane.
Redknapp has recently been linked with both Chelsea and Liverpool but Walker hopes that the 65-year-old will carry on at the North London club.
The 21-year-old said: "Who wouldn't want him to stay at the football club when you look at the results he gets for us. I think anyone would want him around.
"I don't think there's a better manager. I try not to get distracted by speculation but, hopefully, he is around and I will be working with him next season.
"He has nurtured me in the right way and I trust him."
Walker was named PFA Young Player of the Year for his performances this season.
