Preview: Swansea City vs. Tottenham Hotspur

Sports Mole previews the match at the Liberty Stadium between Swansea City and Tottenham Hotspur.

Swansea City will be without goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski when they host Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday afternoon.

The former Arsenal stopper was sent off during last week's 3-1 defeat at West Ham United and despite an appeal being made by the club, the dismissal holds meaning that the Polish custodian must watch from the stands.

Gerhard Tremmel will deputise in his place while left-back Neil Taylor is available again after serving a one-match ban last week.

Gylfi Sigurdsson, who has scored in victories over Manchester United and Arsenal this season, will be keen to make an impact against his former club as Swansea look to keep in touch with the teams chasing a Champions League place.

Spurs head coach Mauricio Pochettino would have been impressed with the performances of several of his fringe players during their 1-0 defeat to Besiktas in the Europa League, but their participation is likely to depend on their recovery from two long flights within a few days.

Kyle Walker performed solidly on his first start since March but Eric Dier and Vlad Chiriches are favourites to feature at right-back.

The likes of Hugo Lloris, Christian Eriksen and Harry Kane will all return to the starting lineup after being rested in midweek.

Spurs can overtake Swansea and move as high as sixth position in the Premier League table if they can register three points at the Liberty Stadium.
