How Fulham could line up against Tottenham Hotspur

Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Fulham could line up for their Premier League meeting with Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday evening.

Fulham will aim to stretch their unbeaten run in the Premier League to six matches when they welcome Tottenham Hotspur to Craven Cottage for Thursday's London derby.

Scott Parker has a relatively clean bill of health for this game, with Marek Rodak's finger injury and Tom Cairney's ongoing knee problem the only two concerns for the Fulham boss.

However, having backed Alphonse Areola for a France recall, there is no chance of the Paris Saint-Germain loanee - who boasts four clean sheets in his last five - dropping out for Rodak even if his fellow shot-stopper was fully fit.

With the Cottagers' rearguard shipping just one goal in their last five, Kenny Tete, Joachim Andersen and Tosin Adarabioyo are all set to retain their places, but Antonee Robinson could come in at left-back after replacing Ola Aina at half time against Crystal Palace.

Parker's team are facing three games in the space of eight days so changes must be made further up the pitch as well, starting with Mario Lemina potentially earning a recall to the midfield over Andre Zambo Anguissa, but Harrison Reed's spot should be safe.

The hosting manager has heaped praise on "unplayable" Ruben Loftus-Cheek so is unlikely to consider dropping the Chelsea loanee, but Ivan Cavaleiro - who headed in the equaliser in January's 1-1 draw with Tottenham - could be given the nod on the right flank over Bobby Reid as Ademola Lookman starts on the opposite side of the pitch.

The return from Aleksandar Mitrovic from coronavirus is a huge boost for the goal-shy Cottagers, but he is unlikely to come into Parker's thinking for a start after a 17-minute cameo against Palace, so Bordeaux loanee Josh Maja looks set to continue up top for the time being.

Fulham possible starting lineup:
Areola; Tete, Andersen, Adarabioyo, Robinson; Reed, Lemina; Cavaleiro, Loftus-Cheek, Lookman; Maja
