Emmanuel Adebayor's move to Aston Villa is rumoured to be on the brink of collapse over the Tottenham Hotspur striker's reluctance to move out of London.
The Togolese forward looked set to be reunited with his former Spurs boss Tim Sherwood at Villa Park after it was reported last week that Villa were close to securing his signature.
However, despite Adebayor apparently undergoing a medical in Birmingham the deal now appears to be off, with The Mirror reporting that the 31-year-old has refused to move to the Midlands.
Instead, he is said to want to commute to Villa's Bodymoor Heath training ground from his current home in the capital, an idea which has put Sherwood off signing the former Arsenal and Manchester City man.
Villa have already signed strikers Jordan Ayew and Rudy Gestede in this summer's transfer window after the sale of Christian Benteke to Liverpool.
