Real Madrid's relentless pursuit of Tottenham Hotspur allegedly sparks unrest at the club.

Real Madrid's pursuit of Tottenham Hotspur star Gareth Bale has allegedly caused dressing room unrest at the La Liga outfit.

Reports from Spain suggest that Iker Casillas, Sergio Ramos and Fabio Coentrao have expressed concerns about club president Florentino Perez's relentless efforts to capture the player.

Wales star Bale has been linked with a world record £105m move to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

"One of the senior players said that he was surprised that Perez was willing to pay so much for one player and another asked, 'What about us?'" The Mirror quotes a source in Spain as saying.

"A third player was adamant that Bale was not needed, and that the squad Carlo Ancelotti already has is strong enough without him."

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is believed to be in negotiations with Real about Bale's world record switch.
