Barcelona have reportedly made an enquiry about signing Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen this month, with the Denmark international out of contract in the summer.
Eriksen has been linked with a number of clubs this month and it appears that he will not sign a new contract to keep him at Spurs beyond the summer.
According to Sky Sports News, Barcelona have made an enquiry about the former Ajax man's availability, despite the 27-year-old meeting with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy this week to tell him he wants to move to Inter Milan.
The report adds that Eriksen has agreed personal terms with the San Siro club, but that Inter and Spurs are yet to settle on a transfer fee.
The North London club are said to be holding out for £17m this month, while Eriksen is now free to arrange a summer move for free with foreign clubs.
Barcelona have just appointed Quique Setien as their new head coach following the dismissal of Ernesto Valverde, and Eriksen would be his first signing since arriving.
