The agent of Brazil international Bernard reveals that Tottenham Hotspur have been priced out of a move for the playmaker.

The agent of Brazil international Bernard has played down talk of the player moving to Tottenham Hotspur.

The playmaker has been linked with a move away to Borussia Dortmund, Spurs and Shakhtar Donetsk this summer.

However, the player's agent Adriano Spadoto admitted that Atletico Mineiro's asking price could be too high for a switch to White Hart Lane.

"The negotiations with Dortmund and Tottenham have cooled due to Bernard's high asking price and he won't go to any of these clubs," Spadoto told O Tempo.

"There is nothing from Shakhtar; they have made no offer. I believe that Bernard will leave Atletico Mineiro after the Copa Libertadores and the official announcement will be made by [Mineiro president] Alexandre Kalil."

Bernard was part of the Brazil squad that won the Confederations Cup last week.
