Christian Eriksen will reportedly reject any contract offer that comes his way from Tottenham Hotspur.
The Lilywhites have been desperate to tie the Dane down to a new deal, with the 27-year-old's contract expiring at the end of the season.
Eriksen admitted in June that he was ready for a new challenge, and according to Marca, would prefer to sit down and discuss potential moves to the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona in January.
The former Ajax midfielder was linked with a move away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium all summer, but no transfer ever appeared particularly close to happening during the summer window.
Despite the speculation, Mauricio Pochettino has still been using Eriksen in the Premier League - handing him starts against Manchester City, Arsenal and Crystal Palace so far this term.
Eriksen has been a key figure for Tottenham since joining them under Andre Villas-Boas in 2013, scoring 50 and assisting a further 60 goals in 211 Premier League appearances.
