Christian Eriksen 'to join Real Madrid after Champions League final'

Christian Eriksen's move to Real Madrid from Tottenham Hotspur will be confirmed at the start of next month, according to a report.

Tottenham Hotspur attacker Christian Eriksen will reportedly be announced as a Real Madrid player after the 2019 Champions League final at the start of next month.

Eriksen has scored 10 times and contributed 17 assists in 50 appearances in all competitions for Spurs during the 2018-19 campaign.

The Denmark international will see his current deal expire at the end of next season, however, and Madrid have been strongly linked with the 27-year-old over the last few months.

According to El Chiringuito, both a transfer fee and personal terms have already been agreed, with Los Blancos expected to be announce Eriksen's signature after the Champions League final, which pits Spurs against English rivals Liverpool.

Eriksen struck eight goals and 12 assists in 35 Premier League appearances for Mauricio Pochettino's side during the 2018-19 campaign, while he has also netted twice in the Champions League en route to the final.
