Erik Lamela keen on Tottenham Hotspur stay

Spurs winger Erik Lamela cannot see any reason why he will not still be at the club when the 2015-16 campaign gets underway.

Erik Lamela has reiterated his desire to stay at Tottenham Hotspur beyond this season.

The Argentine, 23, has been linked with summer moves away from White Hart Lane after enduring another trying season following his £30m move from Roma in 2013.

Lamela was on target in Saturday's 2-2 draw at Southampton - his second Premier League goal since arriving - but the winger is determined to stay in North London.

"I obviously see myself here [in Tottenham]," he told reporters. "Those questions start to be usual but I am very good here and I see myself in here."

Lamela is contracted to the Lilywhites until 2018.
