Genoa striker Krzysztof Piatek has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Manchester City.
The Premier League champions are well stocked for options in the final third of the pitch, with Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus often rotating in the lone-striker role.
However, according to talkSPORT, Pep Guardiola is considering an approach for a player who only moved to one of European football's top leagues during the summer.
Piatek linked up with Genoa at the start of July, and the forward has already netted nine times from seven appearances in Serie A.
The player's form has led to Genoa placing a £30m price-tag on Piatek, who is also said to be interesting both Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur.
Piatek's contract at Genoa is due to last until the end of the 2021-22 campaign.
