Manchester City are reportedly preparing a €55m (£47m) offer for Fiorentina's Dusan Vlahovic, as the Citizens continue to be frustrated in their pursuit of Harry Kane.
The English champions have not made any significant progress in talks with Tottenham Hotspur over Kane, and the club are now running out of time to complete a deal before the end of the transfer window.
Vlahovic has been linked with Pep Guardiola's side in recent days, and Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso recently revealed that there was interest in the 21-year-old.
Commisso is determined to keep hold of the Serbia international, but according to La Repubblica, Man City believe that an offer of around €55m (£47m) would be seriously considered.
The report claims that Fiorentina value the forward in the region of €70m (£59.9m) despite claims that €100m (£85.6m) would be required to convince the Italian side to sell.
Vlahovic found the back of the net on 21 occasions in 37 appearances in Italy's top flight last season, while he has scored twice in two outings at club level this term.
