Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony expects Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Alex Pritchard to join Swindon Town this summer.

Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony has admitted that he expects Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Alex Pritchard to join Swindon Town this summer.

The 20-year-old spent a period on loan at Peterborough last season, with MacAnthony later confirming that Posh want to sign the winger on a permanent basis.

However, it now appears that Swindon are in the driving seat for the youngster's signature.

"We want him and the boy wants to come to us. Spurs insisting he goes to Swindon. Nothing we can do I'm afraid," MacAnthony tweeted.

Peterborough were relegated from the Championship last season.
