Newcastle United are reportedly ready to reignite their interest in Tottenham Hotspur's out-of-favour midfielder Andros Townsend.
The England international is no longer in the plans of Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino and has been forced to turn out for the club's reserve team over the last couple of months.
It had been claimed that a potential deal between Newcastle and Spurs had broken down over the attacker's asking price, but according to Sky Sports News, the Magpies are still interested in the 24-year-old.
The same report claims that Spurs want £14m for the Englishman, but Newcastle are currently not prepared to move past the £10.5m mark.
Townsend, who still has 18 months left to run on his current contract, has not represented Tottenham's first team since October.
