Paris Saint-Germain are planning an £85m move for Gareth Bale and want his manager Andre Villas-Boas to join him in the French capital.

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly readying an £85m bid for Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale.

The Wales international has been strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid this summer, while Manchester United are also reportedly interested.

According to the Daily Mail, French champions PSG will make a world record offer for Bale, and want Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas to join him in Paris.

It is thought that PSG hope that Villas-Boas can convince Bale to move to France, but even if they fail to tempt his manager, the Qatari-owned club will make a bid for the player anyway.

Bale is currently on holiday in America, and is yet to comment on his future.

The 23-year-old scored 21 goals this season, and won both the PFA player and young player of the year award.
