Report: Tottenham Hotspur prepare Saido Berahino bid

Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly bid £15m for West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino in the January transfer window.

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly started preparing a bid for Saido Berahino during the January transfer window.

The West Bromwich Albion striker is the top-scoring Englishman in the Premier League so far this season, and netted the winner in the England Under-21s' 2-1 victory against Croatia Under-21s last night.

According the The Sun, manager Mauricio Pochettino has identified the 21-year-old as a potential fit for the White Hart Lane side, and is willing to bid £15m to bring him to the London club.

Spurs have scored just nine goals in their first seven matches in the top flight this season, while Berahino has five for the Baggies.
