Harry Redknapp: 'I'd love to sign Beckham'

Harry Redknapp says that he would love to bring David Beckham to Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has said that he is open to the idea of signing David Beckham.

The former England captain trained with Spurs last season and Redknapp is keen to bring the player back to the club.

Beckham - who recently rejected a move to Paris Saint-Germain - is interesting clubs across Europe, with plenty of Premier League outfits reportedly making moves for the 36-year-old.

"If David wants to come in then of course he can, it's not a problem," Redknapp told reporters.

"I haven't spoken to him about it, but I could do if he wants to come back. We'd love to have him here.

"Could David play for us? It's a difficult one, I wouldn't know about the financial side of all of that. The chairman was dealing with his club last time. But as a fella, to have him around the place every day was brilliant."

Beckham has yet to decide his future since his contract with LA Galaxy expired.
