Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly identified Beijing Guoan defender Kim Min-jae as a potential transfer target.
Given the financial implications of the coronavirus pandemic, Spurs would allegedly prefer to sign free agents during the next window.
However, according to HITC, there is interest in securing a deal for Kim, who is an international teammate of South Korean attacker Son Heung-min.
The 23-year-old, nicknamed 'Monster', has spent the last 18 months at Guoan, establishing himself as one of the best centre-backs in the Chinese Super League.
Despite Kim's contract being due to expire at the end of 2021, the report suggests that Guoan are prepared to demand in the region of £13.5m.
Aware that Jan Vertonghen will likely end his eight-year association with the club, Jose Mourinho is keen to bring in a replacement.
