Tottenham Hotspur reportedly still have a firm interest in Adama Traore and could move for the Wolverhampton Wanderers attacker before the end of the summer transfer window.
Spurs were strongly linked with the Spain international in January, but he instead re-joined Barcelona on loan for the second half of the 2021-22 campaign.
The 26-year-old was a regular for Xavi's side last term, making 11 appearances in La Liga, providing two assists, while he also contributed two assists in six Europa League matches.
Barcelona had the chance to re-sign the attacker on a permanent basis this summer but passed up the option, with the Spaniard instead heading back to his parent club.
Traore's future at Molineux is far from clear, with his contract due to expire next June, and according to transfer insider Dean Jones, Spurs still have an interest in the powerful forward.

"I think Adama Traore still would have to be considered for that slot. We know how much they liked him. There are people involved in the set-up that really want Adama Traore and even would make him a priority because they think it'd be such a good fit," Jones told GIVEMESPORT.
There have been suggestions that Traore could be available for as little as £10m this summer, with Everton also believed to have shown an interest in his services.
The attacker found it difficult to make his mark for Wolves in the first half of last season, managing just one goal in 20 Premier League appearances.
In total, he has represented his current side on 154 occasions since arriving from Middlesbrough in 2018, contributing 11 goals and 18 assists in the process.
Traore's ability to play as a wing-back allegedly makes him an attractive signing for Tottenham, with the club's head coach Antonio Conte again expected to use a 3-4-3 formation next term.

Spurs have been active during this summer's transfer window, bringing in Richarlison, Djed Spence, Yves Bissouma, Ivan Perisic and Fraser Forster.
Meanwhile, Clement Lenglet has arrived on a season-long loan from Barcelona, as the North London outfit prepare for a busy campaign which will see them return to the Champions League.
Tottenham have played three times during pre-season, beating a K-League XI 6-3 on July 13 before drawing with Sevilla and beating Rangers 2-1 in their last two friendlies.
Conte's side will round off their preparations for the new season with a clash against Italian giants Roma on Saturday evening before beginning their Premier League campaign at home to Southampton on August 6.
