Huddersfield Town are reportedly closing in on Tottenham Hotspur youngster Jaden Brown after being given permission to hold talks with the left-back.
Despite being a regular for the Lilywhites' Under-23s side, Brown has yet to earn his first-team debut at senior level.
The teenage defender, behind the likes of Danny Rose, Ben Davies and fellow academy graduate Kyle Walker-Peters for a starting spot, is now expected to be sold by Spurs.
Football.London reports that Brown, who has just six months left on his deal, could become a Huddersfield player in the coming days.
Terriers boss David Wagner recently said that he is looking to strengthen his squad for the second half of the season, with a new striker taking top priority.
