Zinedine Zidane believes that Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale would fit in at Real Madrid.

Zinedine Zidane has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale is good enough to play for Real Madrid.

The Welsh international, who was recently named the PFA's Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year, has been linked with a summer move to the Spanish giants.

"Aside from [Cristiano] Ronaldo and [Lionel] Messi, he is the player who has impressed me the most in the world. He is outstanding," Zidane is quoted as saying by The Mirror.

"Is he good enough for Real Madrid? Of course. He is more than good enough to play for Real Madrid."

Zidane currently works as an adviser at the Santiago Bernabeu following his retirement in 2006.
