Ricardo Fuller thinks that Stoke City can "cause a shock" against Europa League opponents Valencia tomorrow.

Stoke City striker Ricardo Fuller believes that the Potters are capable of securing a surprise victory over La Liga side Valencia.

The Premier League outfit are the underdogs for the first leg of the Europa League match against the Spanish side, but Fuller has urged critics not to write off Stoke's chances.

"People will say we have no chance, but they also said that in the group stage," said Fuller. "We won't go out there just to make up the numbers, we will be looking to cause a shock by going through to the last 16."

Tony Pulis's side head into the fixture off the back of four league defeats.
