Tony Pulis unhappy with Stoke City schedule

Stoke boss Tony Pulis is unhappy with the recent rescheduling of his side's matches.

Stoke City manager Tony Pulis has said that he is unhappy after a rescheduling of his side's matches.

The Potters take on Newcastle United on Monday night before travelling to Israel to face Maccabi Tel-Aviv in the Europa League on Thursday.

Monday night's match, which was moved for television, means that Pulis's side will have covered nearly 8,000 miles by the time they take on Bolton next weekend.

"For the game to be put back to Monday is disappointing for us because we then have to play Thursday and then Sunday again so we have virtually no rest at all," he said.

"But you can't take the money and then argue about the fixtures and when they're played."

Stoke can move up to eighth place in the Premier League table with a win against Alan Pardew's side on Monday.
