VFB Stuttgart's winless streak in the Bundesliga has continued thanks to a 3-0 defeat at home to fellow strugglers Hoffenheim.

It took the visitors only five minutes to break the deadlock as Takashi Usami capped a weaving run through the Stuttgart defence with a composed finish.

On-loan Real Madrid striker Joselu caused the home defence plenty of problems for the remainder of the first half and got on the scoresheet two minutes after the interval when he fired low past Sven Ulreich.

Hoffenheim's second win of the campaign was sealed just before the hour when Fabian Johnson was on hand to slot home the rebound following a quick counter attack.
