Stuttgart captain Serdar Tasci has dismissed rumours regarding his future at the Mercedes-Benz Arena by claiming that he would be happy to remain at the Bundesliga outfit for the rest of his career.

Tasci, who is under contract at Stuttgart until June 2014, has been linked with moves to a host of European clubs this summer.

However, the defender, 26, insists that he is very content with his current employers.

"I would like to prolong my contract," he told German newspaper Stuttgarter Zeitung. "I could even imagine a future retirement from the game as a player of Stuttgart.

"I have been with the club for so long now. My family are living in this region and they also enjoy everything here."

Tasci has represented Germany 14 times at senior international level.
