Sunderland manager Martin O'Neill claims that the club has not received a bid from QPR for defender Titus Bramble.

Sunderland manager Martin O'Neill has revealed that the club has not received a bid from Queens Park Rangers for defender Titus Bramble.

A report last month claimed that Premier League strugglers QPR were keen to bring the 31-year-old to Loftus Road.

"I don't know anything about Titus going to QPR," O'Neill told the Shields Gazette. "It's only speculation and no-one has spoken to me about it."

Bramble's current contract at the Stadium of Light is due to expire in the summer.
