Sunderland sign Santiago Vergini

Sunderland seal the loan signing of Argentine defender Santiago Vergini from Atletico Fenix.

Defender Santiago Vergini has completed a loan switch to Sunderland.

The 25-year old centre-back, who was on loan with Argentine Primera outfit Estudiantes from his Uruguayan parent club Atletico Fenix, will spend the rest of the campaign in the Premier League.
